  Obituary & Death Notice

  Rachel McKay A very sudden death occurred in this vicinity last week when the spirit of Mrs. Hugh McKay left its earthly tenement, after an illness of only two days of acute pneumonia. Deceased was a daughter of the late John Rintoul, of the township of Darling, and was born in that township 46 years ago. We extend our sympathy to the husband and seven children who survive her and suffer from this severe bereavement. --The Almonte Gazette, Almonte, Ontario, March 10, 1899
