  Obituary & Death Notice

  Thomas McKay Thomas McKay ALMONTE (Special)-Thomas McKay, of Almonte, died Thursday in an Ottawa hospital at the age of 80. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McKay, he went west in 1896 where he engaged in farming for 42 years. He attended the United Church. He leaves three, sisters and three brothers: Mrs. William Mealy of Brandon; Mrs. J. R. Reid and Mrs. J. Rodger of Almonte: Alex of Sinclair, Man., and Welland and Charles of Almonte. Funeral services were held at the Comba Funeral Home conducted by Rev. J. R. Anderson. Interment was in the Clayton Cemetery. --The Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, June 7, 1958 Page 10
