Notes |
- Elisha Banning, wife Anna Burtch came from USA to Lachute, Quebec. The family stayed in Lachute but sons moved to Ottawa Valley area.
- Easter Sunday in 1808 was on April 17, and the special Easter Service would be in Chatham, though perhaps Mr. Bradford may also have taken one in St. Andrews and elsewhere the previous Sunday. On Easter Tuesday, April 19, he married Anna Burtch, age 19 of Lachute and Elisha Benring, an innkeeper of the Seigniory of Vaudreuil. Benjamin Burtch and Aner Matthews were the witnesses and the wedding may have been in the Burtch home at Lachute.
