- Grace C. Geglia, 76, of J. Stanley Coyne Heritage Apartments, Syracuse, formerly of Watertown, died Wednesday at Community-General Hospital, Syracuse.
Mrs. Geglia was a homemaker and a banquet waitress at the former Hotel Woodruff.
Born May 26, 1921, in Mottville, daughter of George D. and Hattie E. Banning Stock, she graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School.
She married Frank Geglia June 21, 1941, at St. Anthony?s Church with the Rev. Claude Sechi, now a monsignor, officiating. Mr. Geglia died July 11, 1987.
Mrs. Geglia was active with the Ohio Street School Parent-Teacher Association and was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Frank (Barbara) Cook, Adams; Mrs. Robert (Donna) Huck, Camillus; Mrs. William (Suzanne) Bazinet, Waterloo; Mrs. Monty (Nancy) Abbott, Still River, Mass.; Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Goczalk, Litchfield, N.H., and Mrs. Robert (Mary Lou) Janelli, Red Hook; two brothers; Donald Stock, Sandy Creek, and Roland Stock, Mexico; 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Harold Stock; three sisters, Mildred Cates, Ruth Emery and Celia Sheeley, and a grandson died before her.
A prayer service will be held at noon Saturday at D.L. Calarco Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Women?s Shelter or Watertown Urban Mission Food Pantry.
