    • HALAC, GUY EDWARD Sept. 27, 1959 to October 26, 2010 . Guy Edward Halac, lost his life Tuesday night October 26, 2010 in a freeway accident at 51 years old. He was born and raised on September 27, 1959 in San Diego, CA.
      He is survived by his wife Sheri Halac, and his two children Rachelle and Justin Halac, his mother Lorraine and brothers John and Steven.
      Guy attended Jefferson Elementary School, Roosevelt Jr. High School, Francis Parker High School and Coleman College.
      After graduating college, he continued on to pursue career as a Manufacturing Engineer. He was employed at L3 Communications for 25 years.
      Guy was an avid sports enthusiast. He especially loved auto racing and NASCAR events. He was a dedicated San Diego Padres and Chargers fan. As a teenager, Guy loved to play Hockey. Soccer, also, was a big part of his life.When his children were younger he enjoyed being their coach, as well as, a referee for many years.
      Knowledge was Guy's forte. His memory was keen and he was an avid reader. He could recall almost everything he ever read or encountered. By the age of five he could recite all of the presidents, their vice-presidents, and cabinet members. Since then Guy has never lost an interest in politics.
      Guy was a devoted son, brother, husband and father, had a great sense of humor, and truly cared for the people in his life. He lived a full, although short life doing the things he loved. He will be missed deeply by his family, friends, and co-workers. We will always have cherished memories of his life.
      A Memorial service for Guy will be held Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 3 p.m. Location: Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary at 4300 Imperial Ave., San Diego,CA 92113.
