- Mr. Frank D. Wert, aged 82, of Walker, passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 surrounded by his family. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Wert (nee Bloomstrom); his children, David Wert, Fred Wert, Debbie Bosch, Robert (Sandra) Wert, Marcia (Larry) Pogodzinski; seven grandchildren; his brother, Don (Peg) Wert; several nieces and nephews. Frank was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy. He was a member of VFW 830 Post and a retiree of Evans Temp Con, Grand Rapids. The Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Road. Memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan will be appreciated.
