With heavy hearts the family announce, In the early morning of October 19 Lila slipped away to join her late husband Arnold. She was predeceased by her husband, her siblings and a grandson Shane.
Left to mourn and forever love her is her daughter Eleanor (Ron) Scharf, grandson Jim (Suzie) Donley and granddaughter Heather (Mike) Stiegler, Rachel (widow of Shane). Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren, Rick, Brian, Kyle, Crystal, Darren. Jessie & Robyn. And 9 great great-grandchildren Damian, Airis, Coral, Zooey, Lindsay, Rylee, Tayleah, Kylee & Wyatt. Also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Also remembered by her step grandchildren Melacyn (Gerry) and their family, Karman (Blair) and Bradley (Krystal) and their family.
As per Lila?s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service, cremation has taken place and there will be a private farewell. The family wish to celebrate her privately.
The family wish to acknowledge and appreciate the care Mom/Grandma received while residing at Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound. Thank you to the Palliative Care ladies who were with her in her final days.
