Peacefully in Almonte Country Haven, with his family at his side on Wednesday, July 6, 2005. McKAY, Jim of Almonte, age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Pearl E. Barr and dearly loved father of Katherine Kennedy (Anthony) of Clayton, Ronald (Cathy), Nancy Garland (Rick), Jack (Jocelyn) and Marilyn Gauthier (Mike) all of Almonte, Linda Trimble (Dereke) of Carleton Place and Susan Callier (Kevin) of Pakenham. Predeceased by a brother Wilbert. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte for visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday 4 at 11 a.m. Rev. Lyle Sams officiating. Interment Guthrie United Cemetery, Clayton. Donations in memory of Jim may be made to Almonte Country Haven and would be most appreciated by his family.
