  • Notes
    • HAZELWOOD _ Edwin Matthew Jules September 12, 1973 - December 25, 2002 Edwin, who died tragically in his 30th year, leaves to mourn, his much loved wife Leah and his cherished son Jules. His loss is deeply grieved by his parents Ralph and Elizabeth; his brother Wymond and his wife Deana and Wymond's children, Jessica and Mark; his grandmother Myrtle King; and grandparents Dr. Cornelius and Ina Jaenen; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and by the Layden family, Leah's parents Merle and Georgina; his special sister-in-law Rayma, Carmen, Troy and Dayton Massey and Steven; and by friends. Edwin loved the simple things in life and enjoyed hiking, skiing, dirt biking, his music, poetry writing and art. His family was his most beloved possession. He was a stay-at-home father and gently and lovingly cared for Jules. They daily walked their dogs, Duke and Lady, went to the library, swam, played and worked on repairing their home and fixing the cars. Edwin was especially close to his father Ralph, and they spent many precious hours together. Edwin and his brother Wymond, with family, spent much time savouring the beauty of the mountains, the lakes and streams, and all of God's creation. However, his greatest love was for his wife Leah and his son Jules. He especially took pride in Leah's many accomplishments, including her recent return to university studies. Funeral Services will be Monday, December 30, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cochrane Alliance Church, 902 Glenbow Drive, Cochrane, Alberta. Interment Cochrane Cemetery, Cochrane, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations to the trust fund for Jules at the Royal Bank, No. 01259 5350533 would be appreciated. Many thanks to family, friends and our ministers for their love and support.
