- Peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home, London on Wednesday, October 30, 2002, Mrs. Lilda C. Tierney in her 97th year, formerly of Westboro, Ontario. Dear wife of the late Milton Tierney. Loving mother of Fred and his wife Cheryl of London, and Jean Tierney (Randles) of San Ysidro, New Mexico. Loving grandmother of Sean Tierney and his wife Patti, Sheila Kipping and her husband Darryl and Bridget Randles. She will be missed by her four great grandsons Jake, Zachary, Nicholas and Matthew. Predeceased by her sister Elsie Aumick and her brothers Art and Roy Harding. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Saturday from 2 o'clock until 4 o'clock, when a funeral service will be held. Visiting will resume at Tubman Funeral Home, Westboro Chapel, 403 Richmond Street, Ottawa on Sunday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Monday morning from 11 o'clock until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Interment in Merivale Cemetery, Ottawa. Sympathy expressed through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
