- JOHNSON - Peacefully at Almonte Country Haven, Almonte, Ontario on Monday, November 6, 2000. Margaret Catherine Johnson, former Post Mistress of Almonte, at age 91. Beloved daughter of the late Adam Johnson and Mary Munro. Dear sister of Gertrude (the late William Colborne), Almonte. Also survived by three nieces and numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Isobel (the late Gordon Whitelaw). Friends called at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Wednesday. Funeral Service was in the Chapel on Thursday. Rev. S. Derek Shelly officiated. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. Donations made to Almonte Country Haven, Almonte would be appreciated by the Johnson family.
