    • Robert M. Hilley, 88, of Melody Lane, Ivoryton died on Sunday, (December 25, 2005) at the Saybrook Convalescent Home, Old Saybrook. Widow of Judith (Riggio) Hilley. Mr. Hilley was born in Essex on November 3, 1917 son of the late Edward and Mildred (Post) Hilley and was a life long resident of Ivoryton and an Army Veteran of World War II and was employed at Turbo Products retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Essex VFW. Mr. Hilley is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and James Millspaugh of Old Saybrook and Wendy and Thomas Morison of Old Saybrook; four grandchildren, James Millspaugh, Michael Millspaugh, Jessica Morison and Kelly Morison and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Hilley, Jr., and three sisters, Elizabeth Magoun, Mildred Stavola, Sara Chapman and Winifred Crivelli. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 7, at 2 p.m. at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook. Visiting hour from 1 p.m. till time of service.
