- REYNOLDS, Ronald L., age 77 of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ethel (Burgoon) Reynolds and aunt and uncles Harold Wenton Burgoon and Edna Burgoon (Paul) Whitenack.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Sandra Reynolds, son Eric Reynolds, daughter Melissa Reynolds, grandchildren Christina Wyatt, Amanda (Smokey) King, Leighann (Charles) Foster and Jim Reynolds, and 6 great-grandchildren. Ronald graduated from Stivers High School in 1956 and went on to graduate from the University of Dayton with a degree in music.
He was an insurance agent and started working with his uncle at P.E. Whitenack and later owned the agency. He was part owner of Miami Valley Insurance Associates. He started as a musician in dance bands at the age of 12 and was a member of various bands over 60 years. He was a member of the Xenia Hospitality Barbershop Chorus and a member of Four Speed Barbershop Quartet. Ron was also a choir director at several churches over the years.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ? BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 5pm ? 8 pm on Wednesday, February 18.
