- Delores was born October 15 1932 at the Alf Storie homestead on Alsace Rd; the first-born of Bertha Storie and William Busch. Delores was raised in Storie, Nipissing Village and Powassan, attended Nipissing Public and Powassan High schools. She lived many places in her lifetime, Toronto, Timmins, Grand Prairie Alberta, Sorrento British Columbia and Kapuskasing. She married Duane Everett Grawbarger in February 1960 at the United Church Manse in Callander and was the mother of two sons. A housewife, she was employed as a telephone operator, nurses aide, waitress and did clerical work for several companies. Described as 5'2 with medium brown hair and blue eyes, she enjoyed crocheting, dancing, travelling and cooking. She could play the piano and took special interest in politics working for the NDP in Timmins. Delores was a member of the United Church, Ladies Orange Lodge and the Royal Canadian Legion. After her husbands death in 1973, she married Bernard Gelinas, who died of a heart attack in 1974, She remarried again in August of 1985 but had the marriage annulled in January of 1986. Delores died of cancer on January 6 1996 and was buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Timmins with her second husband.
