    • HANNIBAL- Lyle F McGlen, 64, a resident of Fulton Street, died Wednesday at SL Joseph's Hospital Syracuse, following a long illness. Mr McGlen was a native of Oswego and had lived in the Hannibal area most of his life. Prior to his retirement in 1979, he was employed as a bus driver for 13 years with the Hannibal Central School District and was also a self-employed barber. Mr McGlen was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. He was a member of the Hannibal Volunteer Fire
      Department, the Oswego Town Senior Citizens, the Shirts and Skirts SquareDance Cub, Fulton, and the Cloverleaf Square Dance Club of Brooksville, Fla. Mr. McGlen served with the Army during World War II and was a member of Stock American Legion Post. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth A. (Mead) McGlen; a son, Fred of Oswego; two daughters, Nancy E McGlen Gawaski of Grand Island and Mary L Gioia of Oswego; a brother, Edward of Leesburg, four sisters, Lucy Showalter and Letty Hall, Marjorie Brackett and Charlotte Blake. Burial will be in Hannibal Village Cemetery.
