    YOUNG, Irene Harriett
    Peacefully at home, on Friday, April 4, 2014, surrounded by her family, in her 70th year. Irene (Purdon) was predeceased by her husband James Bernard ?Jim? Young (1943-2007). She was the beloved mother of Carol (Dean Tofflemire) of Trout Creek, Bernadette of Wasaga Beach and Wayne (Lorraine) of Bradford. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by Charlie, Eddie, Michaella and Brett. Irene was the dear sister of Trudy (Tom McCauliffe) of Sudbury, the late Diane (Harvey Piper of Callander), David (Maryanne Purdon) of Mississauga and Paula (Bruce Graham) of Toronto. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to the Powassan Lions Den (Glendale Heights) on Saturday, April 19 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. for fellowship and a light luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are suggested.
