William H. Carter
William H. Carter.
William H. Carter died yesterday at his home, No. 62 Crown street. He was 60 years old. He was employed as a foreman by the Pratt & Whitney Company thirty years. He was a member of Lafayette Lodge of Masons, the Royal Arcanum and the Veteran Corps of the Governor's Foot Guard. He leaves a wife, two sons, Robert P. Carter and Harry D. Carter; two daughters, Miss Marion M. Carter of this city and Miss Gertrude P. Carter, who is now in Siberia in Red Cross Work; two sisters, Mrs, J. W. Hirst of Boston and Mrs, M. H. Wiley of this city: and a brother, James Carter of Hartford. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home.
