    Edward William Price, 55, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away April 14, 2012. Born in Syracuse, New York, Ed attended Scituate, Massachusetts High School and Emerson College. Ed moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he started his career as a computer engineer at Jeffrey Mining & Equipment Company. While in Columbus, Ed volunteered with the Columbus Zoo, where he had the unique opportunity to babysit a six-month old mountain lion. Ed moved to Freehold, NJ where he continued his computer engineering career at Continental Insurance in Neptune, NJ. While in Freehold, Ed was an active member of the Freehold First Aid Squad. While working for Continental Insurance, Ed met Marion Daniels, the love of his life and wife for 22 years. Ed and Marion moved to Manahawkin where Ed became a life member of the Stafford Township First Aid Squad. Born with a congenital heart defect, Ed bravely endured a number of surgeries and medical problems, throughout he continued to live life to its fullest owning a disk jockey business and most recently motorcycling.
    Ed is survived by wife of 22 years, Marion Daniels Price, Manahawkin; his mother, Alice Price; and three sisters, Judith (John) of Hopewell, New York, Lorraine (Petr) Kuzma of Princeton, New Jersey, Michelle (Todd) Tuttle of Charlotte, North Carolina, along with their spouses; his nephews, Carl Alexander of Tracy, California, Alouette Alexander of Randolph, MA and Christopher Morgan of Charlotte, North Carolina; and grandnephew, Tyler Meaney and grandniece, Macyn Meaney of Randoph, MA.
    Quick with his wit, Ed brought a number of laughs to his extended family and will be greatly missed by all. Hours before Edward's death, his father, Floyd, also passed away.
    The family will receive relatives and friends for both Edward and Floyd Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. The funeral Mass will be offered 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at St. Mary of the Pine's Church, Manahawkin, NJ. Committal is private.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Ed's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, 370 Seventh Ave., Suite 1802, New York, New York.

    Floyd Walter Price, 85, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away April 14, 2012 after a brief Illness. Born in Syracuse, New York, Floyd attended North Syracuse schools. An Army veteran, Floyd served in World War II, in Germany. Floyd spent most of his career with Borden's Ice Cream division. Starting as mechanic, he became a plant operating engineer at several plants. Floyd went on to be a plant manager of one of their largest plants. Floyd holds a number of patents for the invention of Ice Cream sandwich manufacturing and collating machines. An avid hunter and fisherman in his youth, Floyd became an excellent gardener and chef after his retirement. His greatest love was his family.
    He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Alice Price of Manahawkin; and four children, Judith (John) of Hopewell, New York, Lorraine (Petr) Kuzma of Princeton, New Jersey, Edward (Marion) Price of Manahawkin, NJ, Michelle (Todd) Tuttle of Charlotte, North Carolina, along with their spouses; his grandchildren, Carl Alexander of Tracy, California, Alouette Alexander of Randolph, MA and Christopher Morgan of Charlotte, North Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Macyn Meaney of Randoph, MA. Floyd worked hard to make every family event fun and special for his extended family and will be greatly missed by all. Hours after Floyd's death, his son Edward also passed away.

    Alice Price, 91, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Manahawkin, NJ, died peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her home at Brookdale Place in South Charlotte, NC. She was born to William and Hattie Pepper in Syracuse NY, on August 23, 1924. During WW2 Alice worked at L.C. Smith and later at New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. Alice loved her husband, family, friends, and a good party. She loved to play bridge, especially with the "Golden Girls" in Freehold, NJ, where she was also a member of the Molly Pitcher Women's Club. She traveled to Paris and London and loved to read, bake pies, decorate, and to get dressed up her mink coat! She is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Floyd (Doc) Price, her son Edward Price. She is survived by her daughters; Judith (Jack) Tracy, Charlotte, NC, Lorraine (Petr) Kuzma, Princeton, NJ, Michelle (Todd) Tuttle, Charlotte, NC; daughter-in-law Marion (Edward) Price, Manahawkin, NJ; grandchildren, Carl Alexander, Tracy, CA, Alouette Alexander, Duxbury, MA, and Christopher Morgan, Charlotte, NC; and her sister Emma Tinkham, Scotia, NY. She also leaves great-grandchildren Tyler and Macy, Duxbury, MA. There will be a celebration of her life and prayer service in New Jersey for immediate family at a later date. We would like to thank the staff at Brookdale Place for the kindness and wonderful care given to our mother over the last four years. Anyone desiring to make a donation in her name are invited to donate to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
