Jackie Easter

Notes:

Jennifer C. Easter, 56 of New Harbor, passed away at her home on the afternoon of September 25th, with her daughter by her side. Born on July 21, 1959 in Framingham, MA, she moved to Bristol as a teen, and attended and graduated from Lincoln Academy.
She went to work at several retail shops in the area, including the Fashion Bug (a perfect fit, given her incredible sense of style), and later Maine Coast Log Homes. She then went into bookkeeping, and did work for many local businesses, most recently Louis Doe's.
She enjoyed crafts of all sorts, including making her own jewelry, quilting and painting. She was fiercely independent, and the easiest way to get her to do something was to tell her she couldn't. She enjoyed muscle cars, owning several throughout the years, and most recently could be seen driving around in her IROC. More than anything, she loved her family.
Jennifer was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Edna Easter; as well as a brother, Joel LaRocque.
She is survived by her four children, Emily Kelley and her husband Chad, Ashley Ward and her husband Isaac, Lucas Easter and Jackie Easter; three grandchildren, Tucker Kelley, Tristan Ward and Zach Ward; as well as one brother, John LaRocque.
A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held at her home on Snowball Hill Road in New Harbor, from 1 - 5 on Saturday, October 3rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to benefit her children: Damariscotta Bank & Trust, ¨G Emily Kelley Benefit Fund, PO Box 999, Damariscotta, ME 04543.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Damariscotta, ME.

Walter married Edna Jesse McDermid. Edna was born on 21 Nov 1923 in Québec, Canada; died on 25 May 2010 in New Harbor, Maine, USA; was buried in New Harbor Cemetery, New Harbor, Lincoln County, Maine, United States. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

EASTER, Edna (nee McDermid) Peacefully at home in New Harbor, Maine on May 25, 2010 at age 86. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth. Special aunt to Jennifer, Emily and Ashley. Sister of Hettie Smith, Eva Somers and Phyllis McElroy and predeceased by sisters Hazel Berndt and Marjorie Lonsdale. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
