Mel is survived by his loving wife Laurel; son John (Stacey) Ayerst and their family Kyle, Kelsey and Brett; daughter Leanna Ayerst (James Spur) and their family Austin, Jordan and James; daughter Laurie Ayerst and her family; daughter Tammy (Mel) Martel and their family Tyler, Karla, Cole and Erin; daughter Sandra Moore-Webster and her family Adam and Dylan; daughter Marina (Don) Willimont and grandson Keaton; son Terry Madole (Tammy Thompson); daughter Crystal Polowick; first wife Laurel Graham; second wife Donna Polowick; brothers Walter (Cheryl) Ayerst, George Ayerst (Donna Peters) and Ken (Elaine) Arsenault; sister Lee Arsenault; stepfather Bill Arsenault; sister-in-law Shirley (Gerald) Carey and their family as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A FUNERAL SERVICE AND RECEPTION will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 1105 Empress Street, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Joyce Hilton officiating. A service of remembrance will be held in Weekes at a later date. A private family interment will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mel's memory may be made to Friends of 3B, Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5 or a charity of one's choice.
