    Passed away August 27, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted and loving wife, best friend and soul mate of Martin C. Best (Trudy's Big Teddy Bear) for 14 years. Dear and cherished Mother of Rachelle (Shelley) Lynn DiRisio (Robert). Proud "Gamma" of Sydney Marie. Beloved daughter of Gertrude I. "Gracie" and James A. Murray (2009).She will be sadly missed by her brother Brooke Murray. Trudy was an avid gardener, a true homemaker, as well as a devoted employee of Windsor's Metropolitan Hospital for over 35 years. She will be sadly missed by all her coworkers and friends from the hospital as well as all those whose lives she touched. As an expression of sympathy those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Hospice of Windsor. Visitation Sunday 3-5 & 7-9pm.     Peacefully on April 28, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Gertrude (Gracie) (nee Haney) with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage. Loving father of Trudy and husband Martin Best, and J. Brooke Murray. Treasured grandpa of Rachelle and husband Robert DiRisio and great grandpa of Sydney Marie. Loved brother of Arnita, wife of the late Bernard Dunn, the late Beulah and husband Paul Anders, the late Beverly, wife of Joseph Frey, the late Peggy Duddy and Frances Murray. Jim retired from Chrysler Leasing after 15 years of service. Prior he had worked for 25 years at Walker Metal Products. He served our country during WWII in the R.C.A.F. as Sergeant and was a member of the Wing 412 R.C.A.F Association and Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 143, Air Force Club of Windsor and longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Thursday 3-5 & 7-9pm. Parish Prayers Thursday 4:30pm. Veteran's Memorial Service under the auspices of Windsor Veteran's Memorial Service Committee Thursday evening 7:30pm at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. On Friday, family and friends are invited to meet the family at Our Lady of Mt.     It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Gracie on April 21, 2016 at 96 years of age. Reunited with her loving husband James Murray with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Cherished mother of James Brooke Murray and the late Trudy Best. Adored Grandma of Shelley DiRisio and husband Rob, Michelle Baker and Great-Grandma of Sydney and Samantha DiRisio. Survived by brother Doc Haney and wife Norma and predeceased by sisters Lucille, Alice and Kay and brothers Harold and Claude. She will also be remembered by special friend Bob and many nieces and nephews. Gracie along with her husband James were active members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 143, Air Force Club of Windsor and long-time parishioners of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Aspen Lake for all of your love, care and compassion given to Gracie. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East
