LAPRADE, Claude 1957-2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Claude Laprade on November 13, 2022 at the age of 65.
Dearly beloved husband of Linda (Guindon), cherished father of Julie and Christopher. He was the son of the late Leonard Laprade and Therese Renaud. Loving brother of Joanne, Michel and Marc. He will be sadly missed by his brother in law and best friend Michael Guindon. He is also mourned by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Claude loved the outdoors and fulfilled that passion as a Beaver, Cub and Scout leader with the 4th Orleans Scout Group. After retiring from the RCMP as a technical inspector, Claude became a school bus driver and was known as ?Batman?
A celebration of Claude?s life will be held at the Funeral Co-operative of Ottawa, 419 St. Laurent Blvd on Saturday, November 26th at 1 pm.

Peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the age of 74 years. Dear son of the late Hervé Guindon and the late Laura Wolfe. Loving husband of Dorelene Galloway. He will be sadly missed by his children Linda (Claude Laprade), Michael (Linda Desnoyers), Susan (Brian Cantle) and Christine (André Cazabon). He will also be missed by his grandchildren Julie, Christopher, Isabelle, Christelle, Joël, Kristina, Emily, Kaitlyn, Martine and Stéphanie; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. He lives behind his brothers Philip (Therese) and Maurice (Suzanne); his sister Hilda (Jean Dorval). Predeceased by his Jocelyne. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus on the 5th floor east and VON for their outstanding care and support. Relatives and friends are invited to Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa (241-3680) on Tuesday, May 31st, 2005 from 7 to 10 p.m., on Wednesday, June 1st from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3rd at St-Mathieu Church (3130 Gendron Rd., Hammond) at 11 a.m. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

René married Dorelene Harriet Galloway on 2 Jun 1955 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Dorelene (daughter of Samuel Michael Galloway and Harriet Merle Lough) was born in 1933; died on 16 Dec 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Saint Mathieu Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hammond, United Counties of Prescott & Russell, Ontario, Canada. GUINDON, Dorelene Harriet 1933 - 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorelene Guindon (nee Galloway). Dorelene passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Sunday December 16, 2018 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital with her loving family by her side. Daughter of the late Samuel Galloway and Harriet Lough. Beloved wife of the late René Guindon. She will be dearly missed by her children, Linda (Claude Laprade), Michael, Susan and Christine (André Cazabon). Cherished grandmother of Julie, Christopher, Isabelle, Christelle, Joel, Joshua and Jack. Step-Grandmother of Kristina, Emily, Kaitlyn, Martine and Stephanie Great-grandmother of Gabriel, Coralie and Logan. Loving sister of Edna and Judith (David Farmer). Predeceased by her brothers Wilburt Galloway, Clinton Galloway, Elmer Galloway, John Galloway and sisters Anne Galloway, Jean Scharf, Glennis Levesque, and Joyce Poitras. A funeral service will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church - 320 Olmstead Street on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 11 am followed by a reception in the Church hall.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved René in the spring of 2019 at Saint-Mathieu Cemetery in Hammond, Ontario.
Donations may be made to the Ottawa Hospital (Civic Campus).
