KING, Edna D. - Passed away peacefully, at Trinity Village on Monday, January 15, 2007 at the age of 73. Loving mother of Brenda (Freeman) Thistle of Clarkshead, Newfoundland, Brian (Bonnie) Laderoute of Kitchener, Gayle (Wayne) Bossenberry of Val Des Monts, Quebec, Lorrie (Allen) Gambert of Palm Harbour, Florida. Cherished grandma of Lance (Robin), Lisa, Heidi (Chris), Rob, Henry (Laura), Matt (Lorrie), Melissa, Tawny, Noah (Laura) and Luke. Dear sister of Bernice (Ben) Lariviere of Hanmer, Ontario and sister-in-law of Ruth King (Jerry) and Eileen Jacky (Lloyd), all of Kitchener. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Rose King; her grandson, Spiro and brothers, Harold, Bobby, Bill and Wilbert. Edna was a long standing member of the Kipling Helping Hand. She was also very proud to have dedicated many years as a Health Care Provider in our community for the Canadian Red Cross Society. Edna's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 today (Wednesday) from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service for Edna will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Joanne Peppler officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Red Cross Society would be appreciated by the family.

KING, Evelyn Nora - Evelyn King died peacefully at Oak Lodge, Sudbury on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. She was in her 85th year. Evelyn (nee Hummel) was predeceased by her husband Simon Douglas King (1918-1999). She was the beloved mother of Shirley Craig (Terry) of South River, Hartley King (Cecile) of Trout Creek, Don King (Irina) of Powassan, Dennis King of Trout Creek, Duffy King of Toronto, Faye Soles of Trout Creek and Corrine Mousseau (late Patrick) of Callander. She will be lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren and 27great- grandchildren. Evelyn was the dear sister of Melva Serson of Cambridge and Harold Hummel of Barry's Bay. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie Courvoisier and June Furlong and by her brothers Lenus Courvoisier and Francis, Steve, Alvin, Vernin, Gerald and Allan Hummel. The King family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek on Saturday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek. KING, Norman 'Ray' - 1913 - 2012 It is with sadness, the family of Ray King announce his peaceful passing at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by his wife Violet in 2004; one sister Doris (Almor) Fox; two brothers, Russell (Ruby), and Clair; two brothers-in-law John Anderson and Gerald Brown; Ray is survived and will be dearly missed by his three daughters, Lois (David) McChesney of Regina, Lillian (Loren) Henke of Dagmar MT, and Muriel (Alan) Bennett of Meacham SK; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Muriel Brown and Violet Anderson. There was a Service held in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina SK at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 with Jim Atcheson and Donovan Olson officiating. The Funeral Service was held at The Royal Canadian Legion, 328 1st Avenue E., Nipawin SK at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 with David Jury and Richard King officiating. KING, William Garry ?Billie?
William passed away peacefully at the Great War Memorial Hospital, Perth, on Monday, May 15, 2017. Bill was in his 73rd year.
Billie was predeceased by his father, Albert and brother in law, Don Wakeling.
From a young age, Billie knew that he wanted to work with his hands, even if it meant they got dirty, as an automotive mechanic. So he completed the required courses and apprenticeship in Ottawa; as a result, Billie started up his first shop on Lombard Street, Smiths Falls, in his forties.
