    • Kenneth J. Cummings was born May 16, 1925, in Ogdensburg, son of Charles and Florence Cutts Cummings. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and served for more than three years in the Navy during World War II.
      He married Lorraine Bice on Nov. 20, 1948, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Ogdensburg, with the Rev. George A. Palmer officiating.
      Mr. Cummings was a machinist for 26 years at Baildon Manufacturing, Ogdensburg, and had been owner/operator of Cummings & Company Machine Shop since 1981. He was an avid gun collector and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
      Surviving besides his wife are a brother, David, Lockport; nieces, nephews, a great-niece, a great-nephew, great-great-nephews and cousins.
      A sister, Mildred McAdoo, and a brother, Thomas, died before him.
