- Mildred G. Files, 72, of 300 Berwick Road North, Lyncourt, died Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital.
A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Files lived in this area most of her life. She Was deputy town of Salina Clerk 20 years before retiring nine years ago. She was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church and was a member of its Mary & Martha Society. She was a member of Salina Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by a son, Noel R; a daughter, Joan L. Burt; a brother, Raymond Phair; two sisters, Mrs. John Kolodziey and Mrs. Robert Stevens; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Carter Funeral Home, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Daniel's Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
