- Elaine passed away after a short battle with cancer on January 5, 2018 surrounded by family who loved her.
Elaine was born in Williamsburg, Ontario and is predeceased by parents Willis and Clara Barkley, brothers Roy (Emily), Ray (Sylvia), Dwayne (Dawn), Gordon, Elery and survived by siblings Lee, Karl, Catherine Dennison (Lorne), Betty Henderson (Tommy), Muriel Yalden (Bert) and many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Don, Children Barbara, Robert, Heather (Troy), Luc (Erica), and 2 very special grandchildren which she loved dearly; Paige and Logan.
A special thanks to Dr. Ramsey and the nurses at Campbell River General Hospital for her care. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Cancer Society.
The family is holding a celebration of life at 799 Sassaby Place, Campbell River, BC on Sunday January 21, 2018 from 2:00 ? 4:00 p.m. All family and friends are welcome.
