- Edith W. (Runyan) Bangle, 84, 1421 E. 30th St., died Friday at St. John?s Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was a resident of Anderson. She was also head telephone operator at Delco Remy, and retired in 1955 after 39 years of service. She was a member of the Colonial United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Bangle; two sons, Melvin Runyan of Anderson and Lawrence Runyan of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Charlotte Mabbitt of Florida; and several grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Robert D. Loose Funeral Home with the Rev. Churchill Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
Friens may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
