- Edward M. Moreash, Sr. May 14, 1941 - July 27, 2013 Plainfield - Edward M. Moreash, Sr., 72, of 267 Lake St. Moosup died early Saturday morning at his home. He was born May 14, 1941 in Groton a son of the late Fred M. and Ruth (Perlatti) Moreash and had lived in Eastern Ct for most of his life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Moreash was a retired construction laborer. He is survived by three sons, Edward M. Moreash, Jr. of Moosup, Gene Moreash of Plainfield and Bryan Moreash of New York; one brother Harold Moreash of Ledyard; five sisters, Vera Shaw of Pawcatuck, Anna Mae Bielik of OH, Patricia Young and Gladys Mitchell both of ME, Shirley Jones of SC; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Fred Moreash. Funeral and burial are private. Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home, Plainfield has care of arrangements.
