- POWELL On 1st March 2017, Phyllis Joyce of Llanyrafon, Cwmbran passed away peacefully aged 82 years. Beloved mum of Greg and Nick, dear mother-in-law of Ruby, much loved grandmother of Stephanie and Victoria. Funeral Tuesday 28th March, Private committal service at Usk Castle Chase Natural Burial Ground, followed by a memorial service 12.15pm at Llanyrafon Methodist Church, where all are welcome. Family flowers only, donations in lieu can be given for Velindre Cancer Centre Fundraising. Mourning clothes not essential.
