  AYERST Betty Sue Ayerst, 81, of Atlantic Beach went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 31, 2012. She was born in Montgomery, AL on December 8, 1930. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Ayerst; sons, Steve and Walt; parents, Walter and Evelyn Wilson; and sister, Jane Heidcamp. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Weldon of Tallahassee and Cindy Ayerst Berry of Jacksonville Beach; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Davis; and many other loving family members. Betty will be remembered for her unconditional love. A gathering of friends will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 in Quinn Shalz Family Funeral Home.
