We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Caroline Mary Laniel (nee Poitras). Much loved daughter of Joyce (nee Galloway) and the late Gérard Poitras. Beloved wife of 44 years to Robert Laniel. Cherished mother of Jeff (Tawnya) and Jean (Jackie). Very proud Nanny of Emily, Robbie, Jason, Kayleigh and Jessica. Caring sister of Susan (Marcel Charlesbois), Joanne (Jacques Goyette) and Rene (Linda). Daughter-in-law of Aurore (Gariepy) and the late René Laniel. Lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law and their families. Many thanks to the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital.
