John Chollar
CHOLLAR, John S., age 78, died early Wednesday morning after a lengthy illness at his home in Kenttering. He was a Major in the Forest Field Hospital of the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a retired employee of Sperry Rand Corp. of Bridgeport, CT & NCR of Dayton, OH. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; 2 daughters, Catherine McMahon of Washington D.C., Susan Collar Webb of Watsonville, CA; 1 granddaughter, Grace Catherine; 2 step-daughters, Susan Brinkman of Copley, OH & Sally Priske of Galena, IL; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert Collar of Dayton; 2 nephews, Brian Scholar & Richard Chollar of Washington D.C. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 28 at 11 A.M. at the Chapel of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oakwood. Friends may make a memorial contribution to Hospice of Dayton in lieu of flowers.
