HAZELWOOD, John Foster - In San Mateo, December 6, 1992. Loving husband of Jean Hazelwood of San Mateo. Devoted and proud father of Mark F. Hazelwood and Joan E. Joyner; father-in-law of Leslie Hazelwood and Christopher Joyner; brother of Donald J. Hazelwood and Robert L. Hazelwood; cousin of Patricia Furlong and Rosemary Furlong; brother-in-law of Donald Craft, Warren Craft and Kathleen Clark; uncle to numerous nieces, nephews; survived by many, many friends. A native of Oakland, CA.; age 70; graduate of St. Ignatius High School, class of 1940; Santa Clara University class of 1947; Navy Veteran of WWII; member of Olympic Club of San Francisco, Nocturnal Adoration Society of St. Matthews Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Fulton St. & Parker Ave., San Francisco on Thursday (December 10) at 10:00 AM. Vigil Services will be held at the SNEIDER & SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 977 South El Camino Real, San Mateo on Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Menlo Park. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the John F. Hazelwood Scholarship Fund for students of St. Ignatius College Prepatory, 650 Parker Ave. , San Francisco.
