TOWNES, James Everett - At the James Everett Townes of Sault Ste. Marie, in his 72nd year. Husband of the late Anne Townes (nee Montgomery). Loving father of Deborah Anne Morin (David) of Sault Ste. Marie, Stephen of Victoria, B.C., Linda Leavey of Edmonton, Alberta, and Bill (Lynn) of Fort McMurray, Alberta.
Stepfather to James (Angie) Lafrance of Courteneay, B.C., Cathy Lafrance of Victoria, B.C., and Joe Lafrance (Kathy) of Maple Ridge, B.C. Loving grandfather of Todd Lafrance, Tracy Lafrance, Laura Lee Seabrook, Robert Lafrance, Carrie Lafrance, Shane Lafrance, Michael Leavey, Melissa Leavey, James Everett Townes, Jennifer Townes and Katie Ann Townes, and great grandfather of Cotie Lafrance. Dear brother of Bazil (Bernice), Herb (Georgia), Orville (Millie) and Harold (Sheila) Towns, Dorothy (late Gordon) McKeen, Mary White (friend Bob) and the late Elmer Towns. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon, on Saturday, February 1, 1997 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 2 o'clock.
