Eva Grawbarger
GRAWBARGER, Eva Adeline (nee McConnell - Peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 1994 at Civic Hospital, North Bay, in her 86th year. Mrs. Grawbarger will be dearly missed by her children Olive Forester of Powassan, Ivan and his wife Margaret of Restoule, Lyall and his wife Arlene of Goulais River and Ella Avery of Powassan and her friend Brian Colley. Eva is also survived by her sisters Mabel Byers and her husband Alec of Powassan, Susan of South River, Mary Grawbarger of Capreol, Gertie Fryer and her husband Norman of North Bay, and brothers Truman McConnell and his wife Bertha of Barrie and Manson McConnell of Corbeil. Also lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Eva was predeceased by her husband Everette William Grawbarger in 1965 and by two sons Daune (Don) in 1973 and Vincent (wife Gloria) of Goulais River. Also predeceased by sisters Queenie Towns and Agnes Byers. The Grawbarger family will receive friends at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Judy Hare officiating. As expressions of symapthy, donations to the Powassan United Church would be appreciated by the family. Spring interment will be at Restoule Cemetery.
