Potsdam-Russell J "Rusty" Trimm passed away at Canton Potsdam Hospital Friday evening. Rusty is survived by his wife, Carol of Potsdam; his mother Caroline and Lee Charity, Norwood; a step daughter, Heather and Chuck Smith, Kentucky and their children, Hunter and Jacob Smith. Rusty is also survived by brothers, Roy and Linda Trimm, Jr. Norwood; Randy Trimm, Potsdam; Rick and Sandy Trimm, Potsdam; Rick and Sandy Trimm, Norfolk and sister Robin and Brent Remington, Parishville. He is predeceased by his father Roy E Trimm Sr. in December 1980.
Born in Potsdam, son of Roy E and Caroline J McClure Trimm, Sr.. Rusty graduated from Norwood Norfolk Central School. He was owner and operator of CRT Pet Crematory in Potsdam and previously worked for J. E. Sheehan Corp; he also worked at Paul's Garage in Norwood.
The Buck Funeral Home in Norwood is serving the family of Russell J "Rusty" Trimm.

Graveside services for 85 year old Caroline J. Chartiy will be held Monday at 1 PM at Riverside Cemetery in Norwood, with Lay Speaker Don McClure officiating. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Charity passed away Tuesday at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Born in Stockholm on July 15, 1932, daughter of Norval and Isabel Steenburg McClure, she first married Roy Trimm. He died on July 9, 1980. She later married Osroe Lee Charity on July 13, 1984. She was employed as a Special Education Bus Driver for Norwood-Norfolk Central School.
She is survived by her husband Lee of Norwood; three sons, Roy and Linda Trimm, Norwood; Randy Trimm, Potsdam and Rick and Sandy Trimm, Norfolk; one Daughter; Robin and Brent Remington; Parishville. She is also survived by two Step-Sons; Lee?Sonny? and Lori Charity; Illonois and Joe and Sheryl Charity; Laurens,NY.; one Step-Daughter, Amber Willard of Norfolk. She is also survived by Ten Grandchildren and Two Brothers; Glenn and Betty McClure, Florida and Donald and Gloria McClure; Rochester Three Step-Brothers and One Sister; Linda and Bob Locey of Winthrop. She was pre-deceased by a son Rusty Trimm and a brother Dale McClure. She was a member of the Norwood American Legion Auxillary and enjoyed Bingo and Knitting. The Buck Funeral Home in Norwood is serving the family of Caroline Charity.

Norval married Isabell Mary Steenberg. Isabell (daughter of Harley Herbert Steenberg and Martha Ellen Price) was born on 6 Jul 1912 in Stockholm, New York, USA; died on 14 Jun 1987 in Massena, New York, USA; was buried in Jenkins Neighborhood Cemetery, Stockholm Center, St Lawrence County, New York, United States. BROOKDALE -- Isabell smith, 74, LBSH Apartments, Brasher Falls died Sunday Morning at the Massena Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Brookdale Wesleyan Church, Brookdale. Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating
Burial is in Jenkins Neighborhood Cemetery, Stockholm.

Surviving are four sons, Dale McClure, Syracuse, Donald McClure, Rochester, Glenn McClure, Clearwater, Fla., and Walton Douglas Gouverneur: Two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Caroline) Charity, Ogdensburg, and Mrs. Robert (Linda) Locey, Winthrop; two stepsons, Donald Douglas, Brasher Falls, and Ralph Douglas, Massena; four stepdaughters Mrs. Robert (Agatha) Tooley, Norfolk, Mrs. Viola Retell, Lake Placid, Mrs. Clifford (Shirley) Boice, Brasher Falls, and Mrs. William (Diana) Harvey, Saranac Lake; two brothers, Arthur Steenberg, Massena and Harlie Steenberg, California; three sisters, Mrs. Alonzo (Arlene) wood; Mrs. Marcel(Sylvia) Quenneville, both of Massena and Mrs. Viola Burnap, South Butler. 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. several nieces, Nephews and; Cousins. A son, Harley McClure died in infancy. Four step children, Clarence, Phillip, Walter Jr. Rowena,;died before her.
Born July 6, 1912, in Stockholm, a daughter of Harlie and Martha Price Steenberg, she attended Stockholm schools.
She was married to Norval A. McClure and later to Walter J. Douglas, Sr. who died in 1968. On July 6, 1970, she married Carlton F. Smith, Hopkinton, in West Stockholm. He died Aug. 25, 1976.

Harlie H Steenberg, 76, of 74 Maple St., died at 6 o'clock Friday night, April 30, 1965, in Massena Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient three weeks. He suffered from a heart condition.
He was born in the Town of Stockholm, June 11, 1888, a son of Herbert and Emma Dow Steenberg. He attended area schools and in early life he married Miss Martha Ellen Price, a native of Moose Creek, Ont. They resided on farms in Stockholm, Brookdale and Waddington. She died Jan. 17, 1948.
He married Mrs. Althea Hackett Collins Oct. 7, 1948, and they have since resided in Massena.
Surviving are the wife; four daughters and two sons by the first marriage, Mrs. Walter (Isabelle) Douglas, Brasher Falls; Mrs. Herald (Viola) Burnap, Winthrop, Mrs. Alonzo (Arlene) Woods Carey Cross Rd., Mrs. Marcel (Sylvia) Quennville, Massena, Arthur Steenberg, Carey Cross Rd.,and Harlie Steenberg Jr., S. Racket River Rd.; three step-sons, Paul and Gilbert Collins, both of Massena, and Donald Collins, Johnson City, Tenn.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Arthur Steenberg, Carey Cross Rd.; 33 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Bertha) Cuthbert, Saranac Lake, and Mrs. Harold (Gertrude) Young, Portsmouth, NH.
He was a retired employe at Alcoa. He was custodian of the Massena Savings and Loan Association.
The body was taken to the Reagan Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at the Reagan Funeral Chapel at 2 pm.
Burial will be in the Union Cemetery at Buckton.
