Peacefully at home while surrounded by family on Tuesday evening, April 14th, 2015 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Munro). Dearly loved father of Jayne Lawrance (late Michael) of Guelph; Joan Reid (David) of Kincardine; Dennis (Janet) and Donald (Shelley), both of Arnprior. Cherished and proud grandfather of David Lawrance (Estera); Jonathan Lawrance (Sara); Karen Brake (Stacey); Heather, Peter, Katelyn and Aaron Reid; Mackenzie, Laura and Kayla Dick. Dear brother of Don (late June) of Port Perry; Harry (Lois) of Scotch Bush, Ontario and Ron (Theresa) of Douglas. Dear brother-in-law of Harvey Murray (late Aggie) of Barrie; Beattie Crozier (late Ruby) of Cobden and Lola Dick (late Jim) of Renfrew. Predeceased by siblings: Eliza Foster (late Harold); Gertie Helferty (late Frank); Gordon Dick (late Jessie); Dave Dick (late Bea); Ken Dick (late Inez) and Dorothy Adams (late Jerry). Greatly missed by his nieces and nephews. The Dick family will receive friends during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. A Service to honour Lorne Dick will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel on Friday morning, April 17th at 11 o'clock. Private interment Douglas Public Cemetery. In memory of Lorne, please consider a donation to the Partners in Caring Foundation of the Arnprior Hospital.

Peacefully in Almonte Country Haven with her family at her side on Friday, November 2, 2001. OLIVE M. SMITH of Almonte, Ontario, age 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Earl Munro and dearly loved mom of Phyllis Dick (Lorne) of Arnprior, Elva Wilson (Roy) and Blanche Hogan (Doug) both of Smiths Falls, Doris O'Connor (Peter) of Ottawa, Delmer (Helene) of Carleton Place, Marilyn Drynan of Almonte and Bob (Wanda) of Lucan. Predeceased by her son, Carson. Sister of Gertrude Wallingford (George), Marie Bryant, Alice Holmes, Frances Guy and Lavern (Ruby). Predeceased by two sisters Blanche Cecconi and Maud and by two brothers Carson and William. Also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends called at the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home & Chapel 127 Church Street Almonte, Ontario for visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where service was held at the Chapel on Monday at 1:30 p.m. Interment Guthrie United Cemetery, Clayton. Donations in memory of' Olive may be made to Almonte Country Haven or the charity of' ones choice and would be greatly appreciated by her family.
