Born in Spring Valley, March 18, 1920, son of the late John and Mary Ellen (Chappell) Bryanton. Beloved husband of Mona M. (MacDonald-Woodworth) Bryanton and the late Clara (Hazelwood) Bryanton. Dear father of Raymond (Debi), Ottawa, and Donna Bryanton, Summerside. Loving grandfather of Carolyn (Terry) Richardson, Ottawa; Stacey Lee Hogg, Summerside and Melissa (Mark) Robinson, Hamilton. Special great-grandfather of Rodney Robinson. Brother of Herman (Doris) Bryanton, South Shore Villa, Crapaud. Predeceased by brothers Stacy Walden, Lester (Hilda) and Freddie. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in People's Cemetery, Kensington. Clara Agnes (Hazelwood) Bryanton, passed away November 21, 1980 at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.1. after a lengthy illness. In her 48th year.
The deceased was the wife of Stacy Bryant on of Kensington, P.E.I., dear mother of Donna, Mrs. Rodney Hogg, Hamilton, P.E.I. and Raymond of Goose Bay, Labrador.
Left to mourn her loss are her parents Charles and Milda Hazelwood of RR 2, Mattawa, five brothers: Gaylord of Cookstown, Ont., Herbert of Guelph; Hugh, North Bay; Clayton, RR 2, Mattawa and Mahlon of Chilliwack, B.C., also two sisters, Ellen, Mrs. Gerald Bryant and Kathleen, Mrs. John Moore, both of RR 2, Mattawa.
Funeral services were held from Davidson Funeral Home, Monday, Nov. 24, 1980 at 10.30 a.m. Interment was at the People's Cemetery, Kensington, P.E.I.

- Suddenly on May 26, 1991 at the Mattawa General Hospital, Charles Hazelwood, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Imelda (Regimbal) and loving father of Gaylord and wife Miriam of Cookstown, Ellen Bryanton of Mattawa, Kathleen and husband John Moore of Mattawa, Herbert and wife Sandra of Guelph, Hugh and wife Marilyn of North Bay, Clayton and wife Marilyn of Mattawa, Mahlon and wife Patti of Sardis, British Columbia. Predeceased by daughter Clara, grandson Leslie and five brothers. Remembered by brother David of Mattawa, sisters Eleanor of Mattawa and Lillian of Thornloe. Cherished grandfather of 30 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 17 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hazelwood is resting at the Golden Age Club Hall, today, Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment in Pine hill Cemetery, Mattawa. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.
