FOREMAN -Esther Euphema Esther went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2008 at the age of 91 years. She was born on January 24, 1917 at her parents' homestead, SW-18-4012-W-3 near Sonningdale. She was the eldest of seven children. She attended old Sonningdale School and the Gunness School. She married Albert Edward Foreman on April 2, 1941 and they raised seven children: Bob (Sharon) of Battleford, Stewart (Marlene) of Saskatoon, Elda (Wally) Elliot of Kelowna, Lin (Larry) Radchenko of Sonningdale, Sandra (Ken) Pavloff of Perdue, Glenn (Jan) of Saskatoon, Faye (Al Sterner) Lange of Saskatoon. She was predeceased by her parents Ira and Effie (McDonald) Price, two brothers: Nelson and Gilbert and one sister: Eva Bird and two brothers-in-law: Cecil Bird and Bob Atkins and one sister-in-law: Esther Price and one grandchild: Jason Elliot. She is survived by two sisters: Vivian Atkins of Delta, BC and Doreen (Jim) Taylor of Sonningdale and one brother: Byron (Hazel) of Delta, BC. Left to cherish her memory are 7 children, 20 grandchildren, and 45 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 10:00 am from the Sonningdale Community Hall. Interment at Sonningdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Sonningdale Senior's Lounge or the Sonningdale Pentecostal Church. Arrangements entrusted to MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (934-4888).

He was in his 79th year and was the son of the late Ira Price and Margaret Prettie and was born in Darling Twp. He was married to Esther Munroe of Darling, who predeceased him seven years ago. He leaves three sisters and one brother; Annie (Mrs. Albert Vardy) in Alberta; Margaret (Mrs. Foster) of Kingston; Maria of Picton; Alex. of Brancroft and Ira in Alberta. There are also his seven daughters and three sons; Maggie (Mrs. Rutherford) Unity SK; Lizzie (Mrs. Lambe) Winnipeg; Mary (Mrs. Thomas Sise) of McDonald's Corners; Marion (Mrs. Stewart Gunn) of Tatlock; Alice (Mrs. Milton McKay) and Jean (Mrs. Ernest Foste) of Clayton; Lila (Mrs. Alex Munro) of Almonte; Jacob and Ira of Saskatchewan; Thomas on the homestead at Clayton. Two children died in infancy and Esther died in Winnipeg in 1905; while Hugh died 14 years ago. Burial in Clayton Cemetery.

Mrs. Jacob Price, Sr., of Galbraith, mention of whose sudden death was made last week, was born on Sept. 9th, 1851. Mrs. Price's death was caused by heart failure. She was seemingly in good health until within a few hours of her death. Her maiden name was Esther Munro, and she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Munro of Darling. In 1873 she was married to Mr. Jacob Price, and to them fourteen children were born, two of whom died in infancy, and Hugh A., died in Feb. 1914, and Mrs. Wm. Lyons (Esther) in Aug 1905. Those who are still living are: Mrs. Sandy Rutherford (Margaret Jane), Unity, Sask.; Mrs. Edmond R. Lambe (Elizabeth C.), Shoal Lake, Man.; Mrs. Thomas Fife (Mary), McDonald's Corners, Ont.; Mrs. Milton McKay (Alice L.), Middleville, Ont.; Mrs. Alex Munro (Delilah), Hall's Mills, Ont.; Mrs. Ernest Foster, (Jeanie), Galbraith, Ont.; Messrs: Jacob and Ira Price, Sonningdale, Sask.; Mr. Thomas Price, on the old home at Galbraith; Miss Marion Price at home. Rev. Mr. Currie, Baptist minister, from Lanark, preached, assisted by Rev. Mr. Merrilees. The flowers were a beautiful spray from the family. Mrs. Price was a member of the W.M.S., and was always a faithful attendant when possible, and was always ready to lend a helping hand in any good cause. She will be missed in that as well as in many other ways.
