4. | Walter Stickney was born on 10 Aug 1790 in Hadley, Massachusetts, USA; died in 1868 in South Hadley, Massachusetts, USA. Notes:
He was a dentist, studied with George W. Partridge, of Conn., followed that profession some twenty-five years. He inherited, in a measure, his father's musical talent, and was Leader of the First Brigade Mass. Militia Band, under Gen. Bliss; taught music for ten or fifteen years. The latter part of his life he has been a farmer, having inherited his father's farm in South Hadley, where he still resides. He has frequently visited Upper Canada, and many parts of the United States, and notwithstanding his age, retains his faculties and strength to a remarkable degree.
