Also survived by 5 grandchildren Stewart, Derek, Amelia, Claire, Brendan, 1 sister Glenna (Jack Yuke) and 1 brother Clarence (Lois) Peever.     Of Eganville, and formerly of RR4 Cobden, passed away peacefully in Hospice Renfrew on Thursday July 16, 2015 in her 80th year. Doris Peever nee Stewart, beloved wife of the late Ellard Peever. Dear mother of Elizabeth (Paul McCracken); Bruce (Susan); Glen (Patti); and Keith. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Stewart, Derek, Amelia, Claire, Brendan, 1 sister Mary (Jack Vanek) and 2 brothers James (Elaine) Stewart and Daniel Stewart. Doris was an elementary School Teacher serving in various schools in Renfrew County including Cobden and District Public School. She also worked in Cobden and Eganville Post Offices for many years. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, Saturday July 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Service in the Funeral Home Chapel Sunday at 3pm. Interment Cobden Union Cemetery.   1. 6.  George Daniel Stewart was born on 25 Mar 1907 in Mississippi Mills, Ontario, Canada (son of James Stewart and Catherine Munro); died on 11 Jan 1983 in Almonte, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.

    Notes:

    George Daniel Stewart, a resident of Ramsay township, died at Almonte General Hospital of Jan 11, 1983 after a lengthy illness. He was 75. Born on March 25, 1907, the son of the late James Stewart and Catherine Munro, he was educated at SS No 6, Ramsay, and married Isabel Lawson and March 29, 1934 at Cedar Hill, who survives him. He worked as a farmer in Lanark county all of his life. Mr Stewart is survived by sons James of Pakenham township, Daniel at home, and daughters Doris (Mrs Ellard Peever) of Cobden, and Mary of Ottawa. He is also survived by brothers Robert, Malcolm and William of Almonte. he is predeceased by one son Elmer. Funeral service was held at the Kerry Funeral Home on Jan 13 at 11 am, the Rev Jack Lougheed officiating. Burial was at the Auld Kirk Cemetery. Pallbearers included Jack Penman, Donald Munro, Glen Lawson, Robert Cochran, Robert Gunn and Donald Stewart.

Rev Heather Kincaid and Rev Ted Colwell officiated. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery in the Spring.
