- Suddenly on May 26, 1991 at the Mattawa General Hospital, Charles Hazelwood, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Imelda (Regimbal) and loving father of Gaylord and wife Miriam of Cookstown, Ellen Bryanton of Mattawa, Kathleen and husband John Moore of Mattawa, Herbert and wife Sandra of Guelph, Hugh and wife Marilyn of North Bay, Clayton and wife Marilyn of Mattawa, Mahlon and wife Patti of Sardis, British Columbia. Predeceased by daughter Clara, grandson Leslie and five brothers. Remembered by brother David of Mattawa, sisters Eleanor of Mattawa and Lillian of Thornloe. Cherished grandfather of 30 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 17 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hazelwood is resting at the Golden Age Club Hall, today, Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Interment in Pine hill Cemetery, Mattawa. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.
