Elnore, 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. She was born to Louis and Ruth (Foster) Gillilland.
Elnore loved music and dancing, and cooking for her family and friends. She was a hard worker, whether in the workplace - starting with her first sales job at Woolworth's and later at JC Penny in Lansing ? or in her garden, tending to her roses.
She attended Mason First Presbyterian Church for many years and greatly appreciated their fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Leckrone in 1958 and her second husband, Loren Holbrook in 2000, and her dear siblings.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Nancy Jacobus and Kay (Dan) Ryan; her grandchildren, Father Michael Jacobus, Dan Jr., David (Marsia), Tim (Danette), Todd (Tara) Ryan, and Tami Critchfield; her 14 great-grand children; her 5 great-great-grandchildren; and her kind and loving caregivers, Mae and Jan, along with many others.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Ball Dunn Chapel, Mason. Interment will take place in Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing.
