James Henley Frankfort? James Paul Henley, 83, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Jewish Hospital, Shelbyville. Memorial services for Mr. Henley will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Jesse Baxter will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the service. A native of Columbus, KS, he was born May 24, 1927. He was a 1958 graduate of the University of Missouri and a member of the University of Missouri golf team. Mr. Henley was a US Navy veteran, a member of VFW Post 4075 and Frankfort Elks Lodge No. 530. He retired from the Department of Fish and Wildlife, Kentucky state government after 27 years of service. Mr. Henley is survived by his sons, Douglas T. Henley, Michael B. Henley, both of Frankfort, Jeffrey P. Henley, Anderson Co.; a brother, Albert Lowery Henley, Columbia, MO; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and his former wife, Barbara Ann Broders Henley, Frankfort. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hezekiah A. and Nina Isherwood Henley, a son, Gregory J. Henley; two brothers, David Henley, Robert Henley and a sister, Martha Goodwin. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.

Barbara Ann Broders Henley, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville. A gathering of friends and family will take place at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. ? 6:00 p.m.
Ms. Henley was born in Whittier, California to the late Emil Herman and Blanche Lucille Bailey Broders. She was retired from Kentucky State Government and a member of First Church of Christ Scientist of Frankfort and of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She often enjoyed bowling.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Gregory J. Henley.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas T. (Sherri) Henley and Michael B. Henley (Debra), of Frankfort and Jeffrey P. Henley(Valentyna); her brother, Roger (Janet) Broders, of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois; and by her grandchildren, Theron (Jennifer), Trevor, Erin (Brendan), Wendi, Amy, Michelle, and Neil. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren.
