Mae F. (Fischer) Boothman, 73, of 37 Laurie Drive died yesterday in Burbank Hospital, Fitchburg, after a brief illness.
She leaves four daughters, Susan E. Holler of Arlington, Texas, Karen C. Caskins of Fitchburg, Cathy A. Poulson of Leominster and Faith E. Boothman of Fitchburg; a sister, Ruth C. Despo of Leominster; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Leominster, daughter of William and C. Emmaline (Dietz) Fischer, and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Leominster High School and the Boston School of Hairdressing.
Mrs. Boothman was the owner of a hair salon.
Private graveside service will be in Evergreen Cemetary. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice. Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., is directing arrangements.
