    Marilyn C. (Chamberlain) Johnson, age 81, of Ross Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilbur L. ?Pete? Johnson; loving mother of Elizabeth (Scott Rose) Bailey, Carolyn ?Lynn? Grapsas, David K. Johnson, Daniel L. (Pati) Johnson, Ronald C. (Mary Jo Sobocinski) Johnson, Judy (Thomas) Borick, Lisa Barto and Rebecca (Larry) Buchholz. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a niece, Ann Marie Chamberlain, as well as her dear friends, Donna, Sally, Pat and Dee. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Chamberlain and her sister, June Chamberlain. Prior to her retirement, Marilyn forged a career in the Financial Services, working as an Investment Planner. Marilyn was a longtime member of Ingomar Church, where she was a former secretary, was a member of the bible study group, the Halo?s and the small group book study. She was a member of the Couples Gourmet, Sealarks, Welcome Wagon and the Smokenders, where she was also an instructor. She was also a former volunteer with Passavant Hospital and enjoyed attending the performances of the Pittsburgh POPS. She loved her family dearly and was always willing to drop everything and travel to be with them. She made sure to spend holidays with her family and attended the High School graduations of all her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a strong, wonderful person who was always there when you needed her. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm in the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, Inc., 1032 Perry Hwy, Ross Twp., 412-364-4444, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Ingomar Church, 1501 W Ingomar Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
