    GOYETTE , Joanne (nee Poitras) 1950-2015 - After a brave and courageous fight with lung cancer, we are deeply saddened to announce that on April 22, 2015 at the age of 64, Joanne Goyette has passed peacefully with family by her side. She leaves behind her devoted loving husband of 45 years Jacques Goyette; her three loving daughters Kimberley Goyette (Matt Burke), Jennifer Goyette (Mel Bond), Amy Goyette Ripley (Robert Ripley), as well as her loving sister Susan (Marcel Charlesbois), deceased sister Caroline Laniel, and brother Rene Poitras (Linda McCartney), 10 grandchildren: Jacob Cleroux, Noah Cleroux, Matthew Bond, Michael Bond, Charles Bond, Jenna Bond, Julia Ripley, Nikki Ripley, Shannen Ripley, Carter Ripley. Daughter of the late Gerard Poitras and Joyce Galloway. Special thank you to the doctors at the General Hospital, Dr. Stewart and staff, as well as Dr. Johanne Trenholm, and the wonderful staff at the Bruyere Continuing Care Hospital and Saint Vincent hospital, as well as the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Civic Hospital. Respecting Joanne's wishes, a private family memorial will take place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to KELLY FUNERAL HOME, WALKLEY CHAPEL (613-731-1255). As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.

    Peacefully, passed away at the Civic Hospital at the age 88 years. He leaves behind his beloved wife Joyce, his adoring children Caroline (Robert Laniel), Susan (Marcel Charlebois), Joanne (Jacques Goyette), and Rene (Linda McCartney). He is survived by his sister Pauline and predeceased by his siblings: Jacques, Gilles, Claire, Yvon, Rolland and Thérèse. Cherished grandfather of Jeff, Jean, Kimberly, Jennifer, Amy and Angela. He leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren. Friends and family may pay respects Friday, March 9, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kelly Funeral Home Orleans, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd. A Memorial Mass will be held at Divine Infant Parish, 6658 Bilberry Drive, Orleans Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 10 a.m. In memoriam, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation is greatly appreciated.

    POITRAS, Joyce (née Galloway) - 1928-2013 We are deeply saddened to announce that on September 15, 2013, at the age of 84 years, after a valiant struggle and with a very brave heart, Joyce passed away, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of the recently deceased Gerard Poitras and departed daughter Caroline (Robert Laniel), She will be deeply missed by her surviving daughters Susan (Marcel Charlebois) and Joanne (Jacques Goyette), her son Rene (Linda McCartney), her grandchildren Jeff Laniel, Jean Laniel, Angela Poitras, Kimberley Goyette, Jennifer Goyette, Amy Ripley and her 13 great grandchildren. Joyce is predeceased by her father Samuel Galloway and mother Harriet (Lough) Galloway. She is survived by her three sisters: Edna Grant, Dorlene Guindon and Judy Farmer, and predeceased by her siblings: Ronald Galloway, Annie Galloway, Jean Scharf, Glennis Levesque, Wilbert Galloway, Clint Galloway, Ivan Galloway, Elmer Galloway and John Galloway. Joyce was a very warm, loving and nurturing mother. A sweet and charming lady, she will be missed by all those who knew her. Mom - you left us a bouquet of beautiful memories. Wishing God could have spared you, if just for a few more years. Special thanks to all those at the Cardiac Care Unit of the General Hospital for helping mom and family members through this difficult time and to the Landmark Court Retirement Residence for all the warm and wonderful care they gave Joyce over the past year.
