After her children were raised, she trained as a Nurse's Aid and worked at Walter P. Hogarth Hospital for several years and later Red Cross Homemaking. First and foremost was Doris's love for her family. Special occasions that brought the family together meant the world to her. Doris led a full life right up to her passing. She was well known at the nursing homes as 'Giggles' the clown, where she entertained residents with the Elks Klown Band with her dancing and singing. She was also a member of the Interlink Choir, Rebecca Lodge and the Algonquin Regiment Association (North Bay). Mom's love for her family, friends and music kept her going through some very difficult times in her life. We are all grateful for Mom's love for life and music that will live on through her family and forever be remembered in our hearts. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Doris's live to be held on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2001 at 7:30 P.M. in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 W. Gore Street at James with Rev.
