WALTER (GORDON) AYERST Peacefully, on June 11, 2015, Walter Gordon Ayerst passed away at Middle Church Personal Care Home. He is survived by his loving children Edith (Roy), Don (Bernice), Larry (Tara) and Wayne. He has 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He will be reunited with his wife Jean of 64 years, who passed away September, 2013. Walter retired from the City of Winnipeg Insect Control Department, where he worked for 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors with many camping trips to Whiteshell Provincial Park, and spending time tending to his garden and plants around the home. He was born in Winnipeg in April 28, 1930. He was 85 years old. A small outdoor ceremony will be held at the Y Niche, in Brookside Cemetery on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2:15 p.m. where Walter and Jean will be reunited forever. Family and friends are invited to attend. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Middlechurch Care Home for their care of our father. Words cannot express our gratitude.

Walter J. Banning of Earlville who has been employed by a railroad in Oklahoma died in a St. Louis hospital last week Tuesday. He was taken ill with diabetes and started for home but bad to leave the train at St Louis. His wife survives. Burial was made in Earlville.

Walter Banning, 73, Kansas City, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM ? 11:00 AM, Monday, December 31, 2012 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Military graveside services will be held 1:30 PM, Monday, December 31, 2012 at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
Walter was a US Navy Veteran. He will be remembered for his love and dedication to his church. Walter was a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. No matter how hard life became, Walter never lost faith in his church. He was preceded in death; son, David Jacob Banning. Survivors include; daughter, Elizabeth Hessenaure, Sacramento, CA; son, Andrew Walter Banning, San Diego, CA; daughter, Sarah Rose Banning, Hesperia, CA; son, Michael Adam Banning, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Samuel & Emily Hessenaure, and Eli & Evan Banning.

Walter (Wally) Ceolin passed away suddenly in the line of duty on Tuesday, January 21, 2003, in his 52nd year. Best friend and companion to Donna Hakansson. Loving father of Matt. Beloved brother of Wilma Ceolin (Rino Vivan) and Frank Ceolin (Diane) and his family, Blair (Susie and their son Ethan) and Nicole. Son of the late Marino and Palmira Ceolin and friend of Rosemarie Hakansson. Wally will forever be remembered by many friends and co-workers. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, January 26th from 2-4 pm. and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from St. Jerome's Church on Monday, January 27 at 10 am. SPRINGFIELD ? Walter Jabez Comstock III, 70, formerly of Athens, died Nov. 17, 2001, at Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend.
Mr. Comstock was born Aug. 13, 1931, in Essex, Conn., the son of Walter J. II and Elizabeth I. (Bannister) Comstock.
He attended schools in Essex and Deep River, Conn.
He owned and operated the Benner & Comstock Hardware Lumber Store and Contracting in Chester until the early 1970s. Following the sale of the business to his partner, he became self-employed as a contractor in the Athens, area, retiring in 1990.
He married Doris Heidtmann on June 13, 1953 in East Hadlyme, Conn. She died in 1986. He married Lillian T. Guidi Comstock on Oct. 10, 1986, in Essex, Conn.
He was a life member of King Solomon Temple Lodge of Bellows Falls and the Bellows Falls Elks Club. He served in the U.S. Armyduring the Koreanconflict and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He served as assistant coach for American Legion Post 37 baseball team and helped transport the players to games for many years.
He was a former member of the Precision Valley Square Dancers.
He was a volunteer fireman, a selectman for many years and a former trustee of the Christian Community Church, all in Athens.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Wendy L. Comstock of Bellows Falls, Doreen C. Hobson of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Jean Crum of Saxtons River; two sons, Jeffrey A. Comstock of Saxtons River and Kirk O. Comstock of Bellows Falls; two brothers, Robert and Richard Comstock of Old Lyme, Conn.; three sisters, Elizabeth West of Westbrook, Conn., Nancy Desnoyers of Chester, Conn., and Sally LeClair of Old Lyme, Conn.; five stepchildren, Glen Guidi of Hadlyme, Conn., Joseph Guidi of Deep River, Conn., Paula Merrow of Middletown, Conn., John Guidi of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Gina Sopneski of Deep River, Conn., and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Grace Cottage Hospital, in care of Drs. Robert Backus and Moss Linder, Townshend, 05353.
The Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home in Bellows Falls is in charge of arrangements.

Walter P. Klewiec, 88, of Sutton, died Thurs., May 13, 2010 at home surrounded by his family after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly A. (Currier) Klewiec; a son, Jeffrey A. Klewiec and his wife Carrie of Leesport, PA; a daughter, Ann M. Kane and her husband James of Douglas; 6 grandchildren: Jameson O. Klewiec, Travis P. Klewiec, Martin J. Klewiec, Cord J. Klewiec, Victoria M. Kane, and Christopher J. Kane; 3 sisters: Helen Kaminski of Florida, Louise Cornelius of Douglas and Ruth Jablonski of Worcester; and many nephews and nieces. A granddaughter, Kelly Ann Kane, died May 31, 1981. He was brother of the late Stanley Klewiec, Joseph Klewiec, Chester Klewiec, Richard Klewiec, Josephine Bloom, Hedwig Kroll, and Mary Wizbicki. Born in Worcester on July 27, 1921, he was the son of Joseph P. and Anna M. (Szewerenka) Klewiec and lived in Sutton all his life.
Mr. Klewiec was a truck driver for the Sutton Highway Dept. for 20 years, retiring in 1983. Previously, he worked at Whittier Farms as a truck driver and before this owned and operated his own dairy farm. He was educated in the Sutton public school system and was a member of the Sutton Men?s Club where he played baseball and bowled. He served several years as a Sutton Cemetery Commissioner. He also coached little league and owned harness race horses over the years but spending time with his grandchildren was most important to him.
His funeral will be held Mon., May 17 from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Denis Church, 23 Manchaug St., Douglas. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery, Armsby Rd., Sutton. Calling hours at the funeral home in Whitinsville are Sun., May 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Douglas Band Boosters, Douglas High School, 21 Davis St., Douglas, MA 01516 or to the Sutton Little League, C/O Sutton Municipal Center, 4 Uxbridge Rd., Sutton, MA 01590.
