 | Bullet Wound Fatal to Hunter Bullet Wound Fatal to Hunter
LONDON, Ont.: June 5.-Fred Lott, Wingham, died yesterday in Victoria Hospital from a rifle shot wound received in a hunting accident near his home.
A bullet from a rifle carried by Harry Brown, Lott's companion in a groundhog-shooting expedition, passed through Lott's neck and he was rushed to hospital in critical condition on Sunday.
Investigation by provincial police showed that Brown was examining a rifle when it accidentally discharged.
Medical examination showed that the force of the bullet had paralyzed one side of Lott's body. Funeral services will be at Wingham.
